Assistant Coach Ashley Quinn aquinn2@utk.edu About Coach Quinn...
Ashley started swimming at the late age of 13. After begging her parents, they let her try out the Sugarwood swim team for summer league. Ashley swam for the stingrays for five summers through her senior year. After her first summer she decided to give high school a try. She swam for Farragut High School for four years and was captain her senior year. Ashley also swam with Pilot Aquatic Club her second year of high school and continued swimming with the Pilot Pre Seniors under coaches Marshall Goldman and Brett Tannhauser for three years. Ashley swam on multiple Southeastern and Zone teams throughout her year-round experience. She loved swimming so much and felt like she was just getting the hang of it during her senior year of high school so she decided to attempt to walk on to the Lady Volunteers. She walked on and made the team her first year, was a scholarship athlete by her second year, and an elected captain her third year. Ashley is going into her senior year of swimming for the Lady Volunteers.
Ashley has been coaching for seven years now with teams including: Sugarwood, Bennington Farrington, and a Con Ed. swim classes at The University of Tennessee, and is now excited to add Hardin Valley Academy to her list!
